Not everything should be offered to auction, as it is not always the best sales method for selling certain plant and equipment.

A short story

A client of ours was most recently told that they would achieve $3000 at auction for certain IT equipment. Concerned by this the client contacted macqueen auctioneers and valuers for a second opinion. We thoroughly researched the best sales method and saleability of the equipment. We recommended they offer the equipment for sale through a Tender process. We achieved $15,500 for the same equipment that they had been told they would only receive $3000 for. We look "outside the box".

Our tender process is very simple, is controlled and managed by us (from advertising, tender contracts through to remittance of proceeds).
